1.How has your life changed after deciding to become an affiliate?
 
That's an easy one! I get to work from home, set my own hours, and be my own boss. I take vacations when I want to, take days off when on a whim, and have total control over my own destiny. BUT, to whom much is given, much is expected... I have never worked harder in my life, I am the toughest boss I've ever known, and if I fail there's no one to blame but myself. When taken as a whole, becoming an affiliate has made me more savvy, independent, and motivated than I could have ever been in the regular workforce.
 

2. What will be the next major step for IntegrityCasinoGuide.com?
 
Anyone who's been to my site understands how I've distinguished myself from the hundreds of competitors. In this industry, it's a struggle just to survive... let alone be successful and remain profitable. I am never satisfied with my site, and I feel most truly motivated and creative webmasters feel that way. When I think of the next major step for "Integrity", it's really just a question of feasibility: Are my ideas practical and able to be delivered in this medium? To be honest, I don't know what exactly is next... but it needs to be bigger and better.
 

3. What strategies would you recommend for those interested in becoming...
 
Don't do it! I have too much competition already! LOL! No, seriously... when I started in late 2001 and early 2002, only about 5% of new portals survived a year. I would have to think that today it would be significantly less. The only advise and strategy I could recommend is this: Be creative... be unique... and be your own voice. Stay aggressive, be ruthless, and never be satisfied with where you are.

4. What is your view of the future of online gaming?
 
There are lawyers, business persons, and politicians on six continents debating this... and they all probably have better information and education on this subject than I do. However, I think it's foolish for anyone to believe they could completely shut down a $6 billion (conservative estimate) a year industry with legislation.

Could the U.S. government hurt us? Sure.

Could they put some people out of business? Yes.

 Could they completely destroy the industry? No way! 

I say, let the U.S. pass the legislation so they can see first hand how futile it really is. Then, let's get realistic and talk about regulation... like so many other civilized countries have. It makes you wonder what the TRUE motivation are behind this anti-online-gambling crusades led by U.S. Congressmen and Senators... but, we could speculate, debate, and point out gross hypocrisies on that subject for a long, long time.

1. How has your life changed after deciding to become an affiliate?
 
When I first started out as an affiliate it was a sideline from my real job, however after some hard work over the last two years, affiliate marketing is now my full time job. Nothing beats being your own boss, working from home and making money while you sleep! I get to work when I want and I enjoy being able to do something creative.
 
 
2. What strategies would you recommend for those interested in becoming an affiliate in the gaming industry?
 
Affiliate marketing isn't a 'get rich quick' business, it does take hard work and some time to get your affiliate business off the ground. Setting up a really good web site with plenty of good quality content and useful information for visitors is an absolute must. 

Unfortunately the phrase "If you build it they will come" doesn't apply to affiliate marketing on the web, you will need to work hard on getting search engines to rank your web site highly (with high rankings comes visitors!). It is important to create a brand that your visitors will remember, getting people to return to your web site again and again is an excellent way to build loyalty and trust for your sites. If you have you can tie all these things together you will start to earn commission cheques!
 
3. What is your view of the future of online gaming?
 
The future is very bright for online gambling. The growth of the Internet over the last few years has really helped bring online gambling to the global market. People are becoming confident enough in the security and honesty of established online casinos and poker rooms to start playing online for real money. People in the UK are now able to experience the fun and entertainment of online casinos and poker rooms from the comfort of their own homes. The online gambling market in the UK and around the world can only continue to grow.
